Pat Forde on Lynn Marshall: "She Definitely Crossed the Line"

PEOPLE - A security guard asked the wife of Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall to leave Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Sunday after she began shouting obscenities because Kansas lost to the Kentucky Wildcats, reports say.

The Shockers’ loss to the Wildcats — 65-62 — didn’t sit well with Lynn Marshall during the NCAA tournament game. The woman was asked to leave the lower bowl of the arena after the alleged display, and a police officer was called to follow her up the stairs, USA Today reports.

“They’re trying to kick out Gregg Marshall’s wife … security says ‘since it’s the Head Coach’s wife we have to be delicate,’ ” one sports reporter tweeted.

This is one of those stories that reminds you exactly what it is we are all gambling on and talking about at work this week. At the core of March Madness there are teenage athletes and coaches making less than NBA coaching salaries, and there are 68 different sets of those. Naturally, this means with large pool of common folk to choose from across the country you are inevitably going to end up with some crazy ones, which is what makes the tournament great.

Lynn Marshall is one of those people.

In the moment, how was it responded to?

While we can assume that it was extremely annoying or inappropriate, we might as well ask someone who was very close to Lynn Marshall for the entirety of the game this past weekend. Looking at the image in the tweet above, we should probably talk to Pat Forde.

Here is what Forde had to say on The Herd with Colin Cowherd about Lynn Marshall.
