Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer spoke today on the Big Ten's spring teleconference. Here's what Meyer had to say:
- Meyer believes the quarterback battle is still in flux, to the point where he couldn't tell you who the third-string signal caller is, let alone the starter.
- Although he would like to see one guy separate himself, he feels all the QBs have performed well.
- Another position battle that remains open is the safety spot opposite of Jordan Fuller. Fuller has been one of the better players during spring drills.
- Meanwhile, Luke Farrell has an edge on the tight end job, and Meyer says Thayer Munford has earned the right to be considered a starter on the offensive line.
