Big Ten Teleconference-Nebraska Week

Ohio State's Urban Meyer took timeout from preparing to face Nebraska to make his weekly appearance on the Big Ten teleconference.

  • Meyer said they are looking to make some scheme adjustments on defense. "Making sure we have the right people in the right place to do the right things."
  • As far as offense, Ohio State will have a chance to show they have learned from the Purdue loss this weekend, because Nebraska runs a "Bear defense," with a strong run-stopping front. He later said this is a totally different Nebraska team than the one OSU dominated last year. Plus, the Huskers are hitting on all cylinders.
  • Defensive lineman Robert Landers is finally close to 100 percent healthy. Offensive lineman Thayer Munford has returned to practice and should be ready for Saturday.
  • Meyer conceded he has been disappointed in their pass rush.
  • Following up on remarks he made yesterday about his future at Ohio State, Meyer today added: "I just love the game. I love players. I love this university, and I want to do [this] as long as I can."
