Maryland Postgame

Ohio State football beat Maryland in overtime 52-51, coming back from being down 17-3 in the first quarter and 31-17 in the third. 

On the day when Dwayne Haskins broke the Buckeye records for most passing yards (3.684) and most touchdowns (36) in a season, the sophomore signal caller threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for an additional three scores. 

JK Dobbins rushed for a season-high 203 yards on 37 carries. His workload was higher than usual with Mike Weber sidelined with a quad contusion. 

Defensively, Tuf Borland had eight tackles, seven of them solos; he had four tackles for loss and a sack. 

However, OSU gave up 535 yards to a Maryland offense that relied heavily on the efforts of running back Anthony McFarland. McFarland had rushing touchdowns of 81 and 75 yards, totaling 298 yards on the day.
