Signing Day-Steele Chambers

It’s somewhat surprising that Steele Chambers inked a letter of intent today. He told reporters he plans on coming to Columbus for an official visit after the All-American Game the first week of January and the Polynesian Bowl January 19th. (The second trip would be permitted thanks to a relatively new NCAA rule that allows such a visit after a school makes a coaching change.) But he had already met the dean of Ohio State’s business school, and told reporters that OSU’s “Real Life Wednesdays” was hugely important to him when it came to helping him choose a college; so apparently he had enough information to make his decision ahead of schedule. Chambers rushed for 1,680 yards and 25 touchdowns his senior year at Blessed Trinity Catholic in Georgia.
